NOT MADE BY ME. MADE BY ADOBE.Uploaded for people with GIMP who want to smudge gorgeous manes and tails.
you need the latest version of GIMP to use
Installation Instructions:
PC/WINDOWS:
Drop the brushes into C:\Documents and Settings\
Alternative Way courtesy of ~Reviewsification
Click Download; Save the File; Click Open Folder; Then go to Start-- Computer- C drive- Program Files- Gimp- Share - Gimp- (whatever number is there) 2.0- Brushes.; Get the folder with the brushes in them that you downloaded; Highlight them and drag it to brushes folder; Hit continue and all the things that pop up; Then refresh your brushes or close GIMP and reopen.
MAC:
Drag file into /applications/gimp/

These brushes are not GIMP brushes!!!
No, they are not. They are Photoshop brushes.
Tip from ~Vindictiive
Find the ABR File, rename the ABR file and change it to Naturals_Brushes_by_Adobe.gbr to make it a GIMP brush.
I have not tested this... let me know if it works!

Omg I love these brushes...I had to remove gimp from my computer for over a month and by the time I got gimp re-downloaded I couldn't find all my brushes again... it took me 3 weeks to re find these and I'm sooooooooo happy

you can go to your downloads folder, extract the brushes in PeaZip, go to peazip, click the browse button, go to the address bar in the window that will come up, type desktop, then select desktop, then there will be 2 little boxes at the very top of the pea zip thing, check the one that says extract into new folder, select all the brushes, then hit extract, and go to the folder on your desktop, copy all the files, by holding down ctrl and copying all of them, or selecting them, then go to your gimp folder, find brushes, and hit ctrl v, refresh or close gimp and they should be there;]<33.

This isnt working for me. It says "There was an error parsing the menu definition from image-menu.xml: Failed to open file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Gimp-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\menus\image-menu.xml': No such file or directory" and then it erased all of my brushes.

I just tried to download the brushes. I followed every instruction. I cannot find the Gimp file or anything like it when I get to my program files. It seems this was put here a wile ago. I have Windows 7 which is pretty new I guess. If that helps at all, is there another way I could load them to my computer for GIMP? Thanks!(:

No, they're Photoshop format brushes. Newest versions of GIMP can open them.

If you just go into the brush file and find it you can rename it to a .gbr or .gih and it will be a gimp brush

Wow i feel stupid. Just had to download them and put them in the folder.
I thought since they were photoshop brushes i had to change them to work with gimp but i didnt. xD

I thought I made these brushes work by editing the file format to .gbr
But as I update my GIMP brushes, it pops up and says something about that the files not regonized. Does anyone have the same problem, maybe a solution?

I have a problem with the brushes.
I downloaded these awhile back and I just found out they disappeared today.
When I try to download it again it just says the file doesn't exist.
Is there a way to fix this?

HOW TO DOWNLOAD THESE BRUSHES:
FOR GIMP USERS
Click Download
Save the File
Click Open Folder
Then go to Start-- Computer- C drive- Program Files- Gimp- Share - Gimp- (whatever number is there) 2.0- Brushes.
Get the folder with the brushes in them that you downloaded
Highlight them and drag it to brushes folder
Hit continue and all the things that pop up
THEN REFRESH YOUR BRUSHES OR CLOSE GIMP AND REOPEN
CHECK YOUR BRUSHES THEY SHOULD BE THERE..
Hope that helped the people who didn't know how to download the brushes.

i updated the artist comments with installation instructions

Save it rather then just opening. it worked just fine for me, but it not showing as a Gimp brush.

it's not supposed to. if you have the latest GIMP, it should open as a photoshop brush. if someone wants to make them a GIMP brush, go ahead, i don't mind :3

After you save you may have to extract the files. Once you're done downloading, make sure the dialog box stays after downloand and press open folder. then there should be a button saying extract files or something like that. Press next or okay until done. Exit and then refresh your brushes. I hope this helps.
