Ok, so I decided to do Kitana next. I wanted to move her away from the old Ninja/Assassian look. I wanted her to still look like a warrior, but also have a bit of elegance to let her princess status show through. I'm over all happy with the results. Except for the fan... I'll admit that sucks. But then I don't have a whole lot of experience drawing bladed fans (or Fans in general).. I couldn't recreate the design on her current fans, so I just did something quick of my own. Other than that though, I'm pleased with this. The point of the pic is the character redesign anyway.

i think that the ninja appereance fits well...however, a very regal design!

Oh I don't think there's anything wrong with her Ninja appearance... it's just that I thought her look should change to go with the direction that the story of MK has taken the character. Which seems to be more focused on her being the Princess of Edenia than the Ninja Assassin of the past. It's just now who she is anymore. So I made a look that sort of met in the middle between the two styles. Thanks for the comment. :

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. You have NO idea how many changes this outfit saw before I settled on this design.. it was horrible lol.
However, the hard work paid off I suppose.. so I'm happy.

Oh I know.. which is very weird considering that everyone else has had complete overhauls. Mileena for example.. love what they did with her. Jade and Tanya as well were particularly good designs in MKD. I don't know why they have insisted on keeping the same old look with small changes (if any) for Kitana. It's a mystery.

Yeah, it is a mystery =S everyone looks different in the new games...for Kitana in MKDA they just changed the hair and used the same outfit just changing things like the gloves the boots and so on.. I love how Mileena looks in MKD too and Jade looks awesome as well =3

i gotta say shes my fav too...actually shes alot different from ur usual work...the body preeportions in this one are perfect, not one fault and the style shes drawn in seems more realistic than what u usually do.
