haven't tried the pencil with the latest "normal" iPads, but have been considering upgrading one of the household iPads, so that the kids will stop pestering me about using my precious iPad pro. It is one of my favourite tools ever, to be honest.

It's basicly the same as the pro's, but there is a bigger Parralax effect. On the pro it almost seems like the tip of the pen is actually hitting the pixels below, while on the iPad 2018 it's more apparent that there is a gap - though, it's better than the Wacom Creative Styles 2 by a mile, and better then any regular cheap pen. It truly feels like a pen. I also have a wacom intuos tablet at home, which is pretty good, but nothing beats this in portability. I can draw anywhere.

Yeah, I have some older ipads for the kids, they are still so young that they don't use the ipad so much and just use simple programs.

Thanks, I've seen that series! The one with the same characters going through human history ("Once Upon A Time... Man"* apparently) was one of the television-highlights when I grew up. 

I'm very inspired by the French/Belgian, Belgian/French comic-tradition, and since the series are french that actually makes quite a lot of sense.
