There's more I could probably do, but I want to move to another project...

Carmen is having a bad day. She's a street girl on a backwater world whose economy has dried up. She joined a small gang for protection and to have something of a family. Today was supposed to be their big score. Carmen's boyfriend, the gang leader, figured out a way to purify nip, a powerful narcotic into a very concentrated form, ten times more potent than any other variety. Making it easier to transport and cut. Things didn't go as planned. She's been up since 2:00am, and now has a five mile walk back to their desert hideout...

The car: The Allman Poter was known as the "Poor man's luxury car" It seated six comfortable in its well padded interior. The twin rotor engine gave the vehicle ample power to move its 5000 lb mass. The simplicity of design made it extremely reliable under all conditions. Unfortunately, politics killed it. Small import cars from larger offworld interests made inroads with cheap prices. Politicians were bought off, and laws enacted (ostensibly to protect the environment, and enhance planetary terraforming) that effectively killed off local industry. Although production halted twenty years ago with the official closing of the Allman factory, over 70% of the fleet is still on the road today giving testament to a well-designed vehicle line.
