This is a contest entry for 's contest, info can be found here; COUPLES CONTEST! Knuxonia, Manouge, EspiElise!Yes, I'm holding another contest!! The last one turned out so well, and I'm still so happy to see more art of Breezie out there!
But this contest is about couples -- my favorites that don't get enough love!

EspiElise (Espio the Chameleon and Princess Elise III)

Since there's plenty of art of my OTP, ShadAmy, it won't be included in this contest. There is, however, another contest for ShadAmy ru It's actually three in one so I entered all three. I decided to do the most painful one (in my opinion), first. I just... Humans mixed with any member of the Chaotix is like my worse nightmare. But I am thankful it was Espio who is the easier out of the three for me. I haven't drawn Espio in FOREVER... I'm so sorry for ruining him. :') I decided to put his hands behind his back not because I'm lazy (though I can be) but because it was a pose that fit Espio. Gave him a slight smirk too, to indicate he is enjoying her company and clearly that means something since Espio tends to be emotionless. Elise is happily oblivious, wildly making hand gestures and probably taking a pause before continuing was is probably a long convo about whatever. I quickly discovered I did not want to draw her original dress and decided to give her some more casual wear with feathers because Elise apparently loves feathers. XD I like to think Elise doesn't always dress all fancy and when she's spending time with Espio she tends to be more casual and a bit careless. I did shading, and kind of a failed at it. I don't think I really did either of them justice but AT LEAST Elise looks like a human and that's what important to me. Also, added a tiny circular background because it seemed empty without it and the blue really compliments the many shades of red in this piece. I added some white highlights in the circle to give it a cloudy effect, I guess? I kind of failed since it was put in last minute but even if I'm not as happy with the result, I am proud of how hard I worked on this piece and how neat it kind of feels. Adding my signature on Espio's tail was probably my favorite part and I don't know why. XD Anyway, the whole point was to really please Lex because I happen to highly admire her and her work. I still see a lot of things I need to work on but I see MANY improvements from the last contest of hers I joined. XD

Fun Fact; When I did the lineart I discovered I forgot some details and made the lineart look very sketchy so the old lineart became the new sketch. This has been fun facts with TB...
