This took a while but I'm glad to have been gifted a bit more time at a not-so-late hour to work on this. It actually took me a while to decide what character I wanted to draw. I originally wanted to do Mina but upon looking up reference images I started to lose interest in drawing Mina. I turned to ole' Sonic Wiki to help me out and I stumbled upon Hershey. I really love Hershey. Her design and character heavily inspired my character, Trixie;tbriddle.deviantart.com/art/Tr… (Excuse outdated picture. I really need to make an updated version of her and maybe make her look a bit less like Hershey here). Hershey is actually the whole reason I started to like Geoffrey St. John. She helped me understand him, as a character, better. Originally, I did not like him. Anyway, I have always loved black cats of any kind. Be it all black or black and white or other so that plays a heavy part in why I like her design so much. That and it reminds me of those characters based on 60s dancers, I think? I didn't draw her with her bracelets because I decided to draw her newer design where she ditched those. Hershey strikes me as a bittersweet kind of girl where she can be sweet and "sexy" when she wants and badass when she wants. Since she had such a hard past where she didn't quite stand up for herself she seems like someone who won't let anyone be in charge of her again. I simply love her and I wish we got to learn what happened to her but I guess it shall remain a mystery subject to theories among the fans. There needs to be more fanart of this character. She is seriously underrated. I'm not too happy with this but I don't hate it. I still need to work on clothes and how it compliments the body and the front angle of boots but beside that, it's pretty good. If you couldn't tell, she is making somewhat of a mock salute as she did work for the Royal Secret Service so it seemed to she would show a playful side through giving her respect. I added the motion waves downward because I feel I didn't do a very good job of representing that. Anyway, this was so much fun. I really miss Hershey. She kind of reminds me of the song This Is Me from The Greatest Showman;www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEJd2R… I really do miss her. She's one of my top fave Sonic girls. Oh, and quick note about the pose; Well, it fits her playful yet confident attitude perfectly but that's not only it. I have always wanted to do a pose like this, hand on hip and everything but I could just never seem to get it and while this isn't well done, by any means, it's rather good so I'm glad I tried. ^^
