So... I saw post this;www.deviantart.com/destinyblue… Three things went through my mind...

1. HECK YES I LOVE HER ARTWORKS
2. I suck at humans so great practice.
3. How the heck am I gonna make a good water effect?

I actually learned even more things about my program doing this. I really enjoyed making it. I think it's a decent looking human, still have stuff to work on. The fish is all "ghostlike" (for lack of a better term) because I love my sketchy style to pieces and needed some way to incorporate it. Sorry if it is a bit hard to see but I just wanted to add that in their with a slightly more finished piece. I didn't add clothes because, for some odd reason, I imagined this being like a mermaid or whatever. Plus, I really wanted to work on the anatomy. I accidentally forgot that the eyes are a similar color to the fish and when I went to fix it, it just wasn't turning out as good as I wanted it to. So, I guess the fish and the lips are the pop of color instead. I need people to know that the human face is hard, especially when there are so many different kinds of lips, ears, noses, eyebrows, eyes, and face shapes. The hair was probably the most fun for me.

All in all... This probably took me a good two thirds of a day, if I add all the hours I spent on it together. It isn't perfect and there is still lots I need to work on but this makes me excited for future artworks. ^^
