Why do you smile?When I smile, others smile. Why would I stop that?
Why are you better than me?
I am no better than anyone else. I'm sorry that you raise me to such a high standard. I sin, I lie, I cheat, I cry. There is only one who deserves such a praise. Why not give it to Him?
How do you do it?
Do what?
Listen to all those terrible things... How do you help others? How can you sit through that?
I don't. Sometimes I break down crying. How do I do it, though? They are people. Every person deserves love. Even the murderers and the bullies. I treat them as my brothers and sisters. Why would I not help my family? We all came from the same Father.
Everyone hates me! Why don't you hate me too? I know you hate me!
I sit and cry with you. I comfort you. I offer the best advice I can to you. You have the nerve to say I hate you? If anything, you hate yourself! I love you and I could never hate you! You are my family! Why would I hate you? Can you think of any good reasons?
What do I do?
You pray. You have faith. It's the greatest weapon of all! Why not pray?
Why?
Why what? Why do I love you? I love you, there doesn't need to be anything to back it up. I've told you several times. Why is the world cruel? Because the world is full of sinners! Why does God not help? He is helping! Have you not seen it? Or are you blinded by pain?
Why deny how wonderful you are?
Because no matter how wonderful I seem, the Lord is far more wonderful than me and is responsible for my care. He deserves the credit. Why would I take that from my Father?
Why don't you give up?
Because no matter how much negative you need to be the positive in someone's day. Do you want to make this world a better place? Be the positive when someone is surrounded by nothing but negatives! But don't let it overcome you!
Why are you still depressed?
Because it takes forever to break a bad habit! Why are you still depressed?
May I ask just one more question?
