"Thank you, I- I wasn't sure that I was going to... and where did you-"
'Don't mention it, we just happened to be nearby and were able to lend a hand.'
"B-but what were you- No, what are you- Sorry, I didn't mean that, it's just that you have a- Are you a-?!"
'That's alright. It must be a lot to take in, and maybe someone will fill you in. But I gotta go, take care!'
"W-wait! What's your name, at least?"
'It's Drake. It was nice of you to drop in, see you around!'

First new piece of the new year!
This was actually based on a suggestion someone made for a further continuation or conclusion to the Inktober/Specoptober series.

What I had intended was to do a rather simple piece, of just the two of them sharing a moment together before they go their separate ways. But then I couldn't help but zoom out and draw the rest of the boat and some of the crew, which further added complications and details that I started to worry whether I added enough or too much and how far to take this. But after showing this to SlingBlade87 I took his advice and slept on it, which helped.

PS Welcome any suggestions for the title.
