Description 1st attempt on Envy (Fullmetal Alchemist). Expect to see more tries; Envy's my favorite character in FMA. ;9 ...I took a more "real" take on his hair and am pondering if I should try to give it more anime-ish "lift" in other takes, but I kind of like his hair this way...

His hair was hideous to ink. All those long lines kept psyching me out whether they were going to go all over the place.

Thanks very much. ::rueful:: Man, I slipped up with the headband though, it's crooked. Haha. ::embarrassed:: Although it seems to be the best of the Envy fanart (Fullmetal Alchemist) that I've done so far-- despite the fact I originally just did it as a practice, half-seriously! Ahhh... Must practice more with this character!

It was the sports bra.

Also he looks like benimaru with his hair down. I don't think I need to describe his femininity as you can see I made a girl version of him.

When you get online(if you get online) I'll send it to you, and painter as well. Whenever you say Kaito I keep thinking Kaiten...too much Naruto for me.

*^^* Thank you~ (Personally I think I botched up the lines on the left and the pic isn't fixed blah blah :zzzip

The hair is pretty straightforward. You have the outline of the top of the head, right? And then you draw a line curving with the top where you want it to be parted... and then you section off the main "falls" of the hair before sketching in the bangs!part in front and then working out. And while you do the falls of hair, just keep in mind hair is flexible, limpid, bendy, whichever and curve the hair around when it hits surfaces or is whipped by the wind.
