After leaving Lumiose City, the team went off for training, where many Pokemon on the team evolved. Chitose was one of them, after having defeated a trainer's Kadabra.

After evolving, Chitose has gotten chubbier. Every time someone looks at her body due to her weight, she gets tense. Even though she says she can burn off the weight, she still manages to gain it back with PokePuffs.
