finally finished all my commissions so I did this to take a break and draw my babies before working on art trades
I love historical AUs, and wanted to draw Blossom as a miko, and stuff...I also really love ukiyo-e prints, so behold my shit attempt at trying to make one! I even left a little space in the top left for a caption ._.
The PPG apparently happen in different incarnations across time (see: "Seed No Evil", "West in Pieces"), so I like to think their Japanese counterparts were the daughters of Samurai Jack, after he makes it back to his own time. If he couldn't destroy Aku completely, then...yea....
Also, watching Inuyasha as a kid fucked me up and is probably one of the things you can blame/thank for Akubloss existing

Oooh~!!!! I LOVE that idea of there being another PPG as Samurai Jack's daughters!!! Since Professor and Jack are basically Twins (great great great etc. grandfather or some chiz maybe), it makes perfect sense!!!! Such a beautiful picture!!! But that bonus doodle tho. I love that! Soo freaking adorable~ There must be a PPG incarnation in every era.... LE GASP!!! What if they were all the same person just reborn in different eras every time?!

That is proper classical Japanese right there, the colours, the line quality, the face and like everything. 
But this means that Aku skulked around bothering Blossom's great great great great great etc grandmother at some point. Please tell me he came back and bothered Imagawa/Utonium women during the Meiji restoration, WWII, the American occupation etc (HOLY SHET, SUDDENLY GETTING A HEADCANON: AKU TRIED TO SEDUCE A YOUNG MICHIKO UTONIUM AT SOME POINT she was all like "fuck off akuma, I already found me a tall manly redhead")

THAT'S SO CANON IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. Michiko would fawn over Hime like a fluffy pet and go around thwacking Aku with a stick or something. Beneath her calm exterior she is actually pretty frightening.
Sam would just be totally oblivious to the tension and jovially welcome Aku to the family as just another in-law (having a mad scientist for a son means he has just learned to gracefully accept all the mutated monkeys and superheroines and pixies, in an effort to be polite he doesn't question anything).

OMFG GIRL!!! PLEASE!!! Now I just picture Aku being nervous bout meeting the grandparents, and Blossom doesn't figure out why until they go over there and Michiko recounts the story of how Aku took a dashing human disguise to seduce her and she saw right through it and clobbered him because "What kind of disguise is that?! No human being has red eyes and green skin, idiot monster! Stop being lazy or get out of here!"
And what if it's such a fucking common thing that the female descendants of Jack teach the next generation to be extra careful with the opposite sex not because men are pigs but because they could actually be a trick from Aku X'D and the girls never got this lesson because they had already defeated Aku! So Michiko is like "I'm so sorry for not telling you, I didn't think he would try to seduce you too" and Blossom is like "That's okay obaa-san...he didn't really..." meanwhile Aku hides somewhere dying of shame/embarrassment
Now I just picture her being the sweetest grandmother to the girls but terrifying to Aku! Wonder what Sam would think? LOL
