My is this bizarre... the palette is so deceiving. It's only when I gave it a closer look did I notice the, well, the Happy Face.
Guess we all have one of those :)
Very soothing and dreamy, makes me think of meadows, flowing streams and cool spring breeze.

I love your signature touches.
They're little things and additions that make your picture really fun to look at (along with the complexity of the message it's sending).
Like one of those "Find this!" in a picture.
The way you can turn unrelated things into each other - water to water ripples to candles.
That's talent, as I said before.
And yes, the mind's a stage and we are all actors coming on and off, frequently changing masks. But the mind - it's awareness of itself and what it percieves, nah, that never goes away.
Reminds me of Masquerade from Phantom of the Opera. Because it's so threatening and unsafe, but at the same time so happy and blatently true.
Your art is comprised of win.

I like this concept a lot, and how you decided to embody it. The details are just excellent!

Best part about working on a piece is working on the little things.
Thank you Marzipana!

Lovely colors, I specially like the fish/bones and the "melty" effect on the girl's feet.
Which type of paper do you use?, I mean, you use watercolor paper? or other type of absorbent paper?

Usually the paper used is just absorbent enough (thick) to hold the watercolors.

Oh... wow.. your art is so beautiful...
What I loved about this specifically is how expressive it is, and the short story that comes with it is magnificent... +fav

Your impressions of ideas are so unique. I love the expression on the green-dressed girl... She just... doesn't understand. hehe.
