There's something so "wrong" with your art, I really love it.

Thank you! I have a lot of personality flaws, so I think that helps.

Great color palette, it really makes it feel like a nightmare.

Did you ever see the 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers? There's a scene with just that!

Sorry, I'm totally losing it. You meant the part that is like something from the thing!
Yeah, that is truly terrifying. What I love about it is how it looks slightly odd, because of the kind of bad SFX. It makes it much more scary.
Things that really shouldn't fit in to a setting really frighten me. It's like your mind is glitching, or a panic attack.
I get it with really good music for the first time that turns your expectatins upside down too! Maybe I'm just generally losing it.

This scene here - [link]
What makes it weirder is the out-of-place banjo music and Donald Sutherland clocking some old lady.

I still think of the failed pod a lot. You kind of don't want to see the design explored further and ruin the mystery of it, but I love to imagine other ways in which the pods messed up, say if there were a mass of people, and the pod ended up creating a "king rat" of pod people.
I can't believe this is 3 years ago, and what I was throwing out there and thinking was acceptable as finished work.
I've been really trying to push my work now.
I had this sort of lazy existentialism to my work, where I didn't try to draw well because I felt life was too short, but looking back I see it still works for this.

yeh yeh! That's the one!
Sorry, first of all, I thought you just meant the Donald Sutherland screaming scene.
Taken totally out of context, it looks like someone made a parody or goofed around wiht it!

haha, yeah! You mean the classic pointing and screaming scene?
The classic version is also still one of my favourite, scariest films. It's so claustrophobic.
Oh god, I just woke up, and a dream a bit like that with aliens.
I had to fight off Alex from Clockwork Orange, and a few other 'alien' humans.
They wanted all alien cultures to be assimilated into their order.
