awesome! reminds me of your footballers. could make a neat series of those but of non-footbalers? (eg, spiderman, gandi, alan moore, darth vader, skeletor, chaiman mao, noel edmunds, brian from spaced, idi amin)

haha yeh, I've done some acrylic studies of the football backgrounds for some more of these.
I'd love to keep going, they're just the right size for cheap frames.

the B+W thing sounds good. should be interesting to see the results. should be like manga but less repulsive. how many more fight comics are there now then? you must have done more since i last saw them?

yeh, I wanted to fill the sketchbook, I've done a few more, they're all sort of along the same lines, I've just mixed a few different techniques in to see how they print.
I'm hoping it's like the mass produced persepolis books or something similar.

What's the proposition?
I knew about the fair, but I saw colour pallettes and themes I didn't know if I could contribute what I already have.

the proposition is getting a load of diaries printed using biddles. custom designing every page, sliding in illustrations etc. it would be a cross between a diary, a journal and one of those tacky boyband calendars. only problem would be shifting 100 hardback b+w diaries at over £5 a pop before new year. perhaps next year? would you be up for it then?
i think the colour pallette is more of a guideline, ie, im not really following it as all my stuff is going to be b+w.
