I love that little birdy guy. There's a guy similar in Jeff Job Hunter and I like him too. They're so beaky and pathetic looking.

I need to go into colour a little more, I like working in pen a lot, but the finals are always so lacking, they always seem to need a bit of colour.

lol idk how you come up w/ these ideas. it is like a combo of everything i ever loved in any kind of genre comic somehow blended into a perfect mix. really really great.

Thanks! I'm glad that it looks like I mix up a lot of stuff.
I try to include my influences more and more in my work now.
I'm a huge fan of drawing which ignores perspective, so a lot of ancient art, European medieval stuff and the ol' Japanese woodblocks.
Here I wanted to try and mix loads of different folk lore.
Also I totally love how Fletcher Hanks, and Henry Darger tackle drawing.
It's hard to explain just how many influences I have altogether though, but I do love a hell of a lot of stuff.
