Art class acrylic project - Copying the MastersWELL Kubo-sensei's no doubt a master, so I copied the Volume 32 cover, the one with Grimmkitteh howling his insanity off.
I'm pretty happy how it turned out, seeing as it is very first time for me to do a large acrylic painting :3
I need to bring it home and frame it and hang it up on my wall and-

I'm damn giddy with happiness, in case anyone can't see that from start of my incessant babble up thar

Haha, thanks, I tried my best. I swear it looks better if you look at it from far off(like this) instead of your nose shoved into the canvas(like how I inspected it in the end - I think I got paint on my nose from doing that)

I used to do similar in High School art, only I did Raven from the original Teen Titans (well before the cartoon series).
I wish I kept taking art classes, but freshman year in college killed it for me. And all because I let one moron College professor influence me the wrong way
Moron: Draw a box
Me: *draws a box*
Moron: That's too stiff... here *draws a squiggle*
Me: oO(W...T....F...)
Needless to say I got an A in Drawing 121 without having learned anything, but having had sprained my thumb carrying an old school heavy ass art profolio case during a blizzard.

Ah! I knew of Teen Titans from only the cartoon series... I loved them. Raven's one gloomy, but hilarious and lovable character <3
Aw. Aww. AWWW. I hate it when teachers tell us EXACTLY what to do, especially in a subject that's supposed to be all about creativity and personal freedom. YES, we need to use that math equation JUST AS we were taught(more or less), but WE DON'T NEED TO DRAW AN APPLE JUST AS WE WERE TAUGHT. What's ANY of the professor's business to interfere if you had relatively 'stiff' drawing style to his/hers or whatever

LOL! Rant Warz
I loved my high school art teacher. She never imposed how she drew on us, always helping us with our style. (I think I have some old ass stuff from HS buried in my gallery XD)
It was such a frustrating disappointment with that professor.
The sprain happened when only buses were running during the blizzard. standing outside for almost an hour, of course I'm going to get on the first bus I see....a crowded one, naturally. People were not even going to move to allow me to get to the back, I'm struggling along and then the bus had to do a sudden stop. fracka fracka... yeah.
The rest of the semester I had to like sprint from one end of the campus to the other (diagonally!) to get from art class to music theory within like... 10 minutes? If I can go back in time I'd have told myself it is perfectly fine to do a program change
