As the son of Scar and Sarafina he was named heir to the pridelands for a short while. At least until Scar could find himself a more suitable heir. Kasoro was skinny, weak, scrawny and the more he grew the more he started to act like Simba. Scar could only see it as a bad omen. No matter what Kasoro did, he could never gain his fathers approval. All he wanted was for his father to say he was proud of him, just once. Although that seemed impossible. Sarafina assured her son that Scar was just-... difficult. Kasoro wasn't doing anything wrong, he was perfect just the way he was, he didn't need to prove himself to anyone, especially not his father.
