Believe it or not, I've heard a lot of children do actually play that game. In fact, listen to this that I heard on a certain website.
"Many of Five Nights At Freddy's biggest fans are young. Even though the games don't show it as much, they are quite dark and gruesome. It's part of the reason why audiences everywhere love them. Plus, it offers an escape for young fans too. Because Scott's narrative isn't filled with gore or vulgarity, kids are able to dip their toes into mature themes, like murder and death."
I guess some kids need a good scare here and there. I'd at most rate the series E10+
