Fan art of Fuko Ibuki from the Anime Clannad.This took quite a while to do... I think it is quite good in my opinion. I am even glad as how I did the fingers, ( the fingers holding the wooden starfish alone took 30 minutes to get it right)
I hearkened back to the way I used to do art a year ago and combined the techniques I used recently, and this came out.
I am still bereft as to how to do poses properly, one of the reasons why is the way I render poses seem to rigid.. there is no spontaneity to it that gives it life, for some reason, I can never be spontaneous
Used references heavily for the character

this is amazing you are so amazing at preportions (with how one arm and one side of her body is closer so you drew it bigger making you're drawing look 3d!)

oh yeah, I remember that scene, but I liked the scene where Tomoya was forced to eat the bentos from all of the girls in the anime, especially when Fuko shows up with strange food xD

i loved that part to, except it really confused me whenever fuko showed up after she "disapeared, because she supposedly did not wake up from her coma untill years later, her astral form still got around i guess

Well, perhaps her coma self had bursts of high brain activity prompting her astral form to appear for short times perhaps

but the fingers took longer than usual, I had to try to imbue them with the femininity she expresses, and that is the hard part
