I've watched the show, those two go from nearly ripping each others heads off to being bff's in a heartbeat. There's no telling if that's appropriate to their characters or not. XD But you got their details down really well (for what I can remember of the show, anyway)

Look at it this way, you can tell exactly who they are :3 It just depends on how the situation came about for the characters to interact like this. Personally, I find it suitable and it looks freakin' awesome X3

Well, in reality the two are very, very close friends, so many people would be like "It's about time" if Maka and Soul ended up getting romantic.
