This is something that really breaks my heart to see. Not just because Dib is my favorite character, but to see someone like him cry is just devastating. Dib has one of the strongest wills I've ever seen in a cartoon character; he gets insulted by everyone including his own father. Every person he knows ridicules him and casts him out just because he has a different perspective and believes in things a lot of other people don't.Β
Yet, despite all the crap he's given, he's still going for it. He's never taken his eyes off his dreams and he hasn't given up. In every episode I've seen, Dib always puts out his best and never lets himself be discouraged by the things the others say about him. This is why he is my favorite; he has the strongest will out of anyone I've seen and I can truly respect him for it.Β
But seeing something like this, not to put you down, TeamDib, where he actually breaks and shows that he really does feel the pain from each and every failure he goes through is just- it tears me apart! The day Dib gives up is the day we all know there is no hope. The day where his steel outer coating is shattered is the day I hope will never come.Β
Never give up, Dib. Your commitment has inspired us all, and we'd be lying if we said anything otherwise.Β
