I am now in a relationship with the blur tool. It may be abusive, but damn does it look cool.

Sloppy jokes about my inability to correctly use the blur tool aside, I'm actually pleased with how this update looks (gasp!). The rhythm could still use some work, but I'm slowly getting better at natural dialogue flow and panel placement. Slowly. Slowly, but surely. What I'm most pleased about is that the men only look like derps for about 1/3 of the panels they're in--I'M LEARNING TO DRAW THE DREADED HIPS! PRAISE ARCUES!

Well... the other one sucked. This one sucks less.

I'm not super satisfied with how this came out, but it gets the main points I wanted across and actually builds Touko's character rather than just has her use a distraction/shock technique (although she's still pretty good at that). In this version, you can see that she's willing to throw herself on the knife for Tidus, knowing that she messed up, but that Touko can at least try to save her friend. Motivation is always a great thing to include, and something I didn't really highlight the first time around. Almost everything Touko does is to protect her relationship with Tidus, who without her, would not survive long in the wild.

In return, Tidus does everything she can to keep Touko safe. Including, but not limited to, turning herself into a firehose and throwing herself at surprised ninja. So while this chapter isn't different from the original event-wise, it has a very different delivery and tone.

All in all, I'm pretty okay with it. XD

Nuzlocke Rules:
1) If a Pokemon faints, it's dead. Release or permanently box it.
2) Every Pokemon must be named.
3) Only the first Pokemon on each Route may be caught.
3a) No duplicates, including evolutionary forms
3b) Event based Pokemon, such as in-game gifts or legendaries, are exempt from this rule.
4) Only Moo-Moo milks can be bought. Everything else (including Pokeballs) must be found.
