Artist's Comments

A little while ago we decided to open our work up to others to be part of. Since we were surrounded by incredibly creative people, we did a call out to people we work with in theatre asking if they had any concepts they would like us to develop.

This concept comes from Emma Palackic.

Concept:

We photographed people with their favourite item of clothing and only that favourite item. We interviewed each person about said item as we shot. Simple, yes, but we thought it was damn spiffy.

Twenty of the models involved had never modeled before and none (bar *Halohid ) had shot nudes.

A massive thankyou to *solitudoaeternus for providing the lighting equipment and teaching us to use it. We would have been lost without you, Vlad. Thankyou. Also thanks to Kristina Benton for doing everyone's hair. She had only twenty minutes on each person and did a fantastic job! We very much recommend her!

For this shoot *eckyducky was shooting and *Halohid was directing and interviewing.

Kitty's Dress

I wore this on my first date with my boyfriend and it started pissing down. Basically we had to walk back to his house which was about 40 minutes away in the pouring rain.

Halohid: You look so cute!

You can't not be cute in this dress! But when I jump, it makes me look like a cylinder.

Kitty's Pants

They're from Ghana. I have random Ghanian family that i didn't know about. They live in Byron Bay now. They import stuff for Ghana and they are really generous and they just go 'here, have stuff!'

They make my arse look funny but that's why I like them: they are so hideously unflattering!
