A harmless Pikmin 3 enemy that acts as a replacment for the Honeywisp. It resembles a large dragonfly-like creature with a segmented body resembling that of a catterpillar or honeypot ant, and has the face of a butterfly with its proboscis.The Necterous Dandelfly drifts carelessly around, not minding enemies or nearby Pikmin. If a Pikmin lands a direct hit on one of its hind segments, the segment will collapse into puddles of Nectar, the number of doses range from one to five depending on where you land your Pikmin, resulting in enough to flower around 10 to 50 Pikmin with one encounter. After its nectar has been stolen, it will swiftly fly away. The Necterous Dandelfly was the very first new Pikmin 3 enemy ever seen, since it was seen in the first slide of the E3 2012 presentation. It's much easier to use ultra spicy spray. No prob.

But to tell you the truth, I barely use that to. Beat the Final Boss and had over 30 ultra spicy spray.

I've 100% it without any pikmin death in 15 days. I didn't skip the bridge or any game breaking glitches.

I hate it too. Its best to break the crystal then use only winged pikmin.

I did that, but I also used blues so none of the other pikmin (twenty pinks and ten rocks), would drown.

I have 75 winged and 25 rocks, and as soon as i break the crystal, I have Brittany or Charlie take the rocks to the onion and use only winged pikmin.

And learn it's attack pattern, use the ultra spicy spray to knock it down, the lock on and wait for it to use it's tongue attack. As soon as it about to attack, charge it. After it shake is the pikmin, quickly call them back and charge its foot. Thats my strategy.

Oh cool, and I just thought of the Bug-eyed Crawmad because I just got the Pikmin 3 Free DLC, and in the Fortress of Festivity, when you play the treasure mission version, the dang thing rises from an abyss of pepperoni and cheese. Don't get me wrong I like seafood, but never again with shellfish in my pizza >.<

Yeah, I actually love that stage. I was really surprise when I found out about the Bug-eyed Crawmad being on the pizza. My first thought was, "Yuck! How long was that pizza and Crawmad there!?"
