I drew this dragon ball one as a joke - [link]
I thought it suited the illustration best.
But here is the finished product, and to be honest other then the fire and dragonballs, there isn't any difference. This was a fun art trade and we may do others in the future, you can see the colors he did to my pencils and inks here - [link]
and on a final note, i had to do a bit of reconnaissance to find the color schemes to this dragon and links suit, due to me never having played this zelda. I just never had the system*falls to his knees crying blood* But i can honestly say that Volvagia is by far the worst name i have EVER heard for a dragon....I guess the creators thought she(its a she right?...RIGHT!???) was pretty "hot" so they wanted to call her something that sounded dirty but wasn't actually a dirty word.....well done nintendo....well done.

well, i'm heading off to tadusac with my girl friend for the next week, it sounds like it'll be fun.
i also finished penciling my comic, so i'm going to start inking it, then colors. but i'll try and do both as it comes so i don't go crazy like you said...

i think its all important, your art can only be as good as your source. though when everything is all dolled up, and colored, it does appeal to more people then just the pencils or inks of an illustration

indeed! yknow. i once saw a person who had awesome coloring skills (like paint tool sai stuff) but their line art was something a little kid could have drawn XD

Is it just me, or is fighting a FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON with a WOODEN shield a really bad idea?

Beautiful coloring that does justice to an already beautiful picture.
And yeah, I've had the same thoughts about Volvagia's name...only I've always been a hundred percent sure the dragon's male...but yeah
