a little inking to my wolvie berserk....well, he's not stocky, and his claws look a little short...but i did make them super thick, and apparently thats were it counts....

actually thats easy stuff!, cause it's random, i just have to hatch, and it goes by quickly. the long part was doing all that ripped up paper....one of my larger pens had died on me, so i was stuck doing the the thick outlines with a small pen, so i had to go over everything like 3 times....it drove me freaking nuts. it was so tedious and such a waist of my time. i'm going out to by a couple new pens today so this kind of crap doesn't happen with my dead-pool pic.

Ahhh, yeah that sucks when your big pens die out. I bet it was a pain doing all of that with a small one. Do you ever use brushes? That would help a lot too--although with something as detailed as that ripped paper it might actually be more difficult. Who knows. Either way, what you did look good.

well, i've used brushes before, and most professionals use them because it's a lot quicker when ypu get the hang of it. But i prefer the precision you get from pens...it's like using a scalpel instead of a swiss army knife.

thanks!!, after having been to the last convention were i was selling my art, i realized that people don't want to see intricate backgrounds, they just want a character they love doing something dynamic and simple....
so these days thats what i've been shoveling out! so this ones a hardcore convention piece.
