Description
I live where there are soooo many fields and fields of crops, and orchards. Agriculture is HUGE. Ranching, farming and dairy, etc.,

Anyway, also on the way home, stopped to photograph mostly the cornfields. I felt pretty good about several shots, but I forced myself to one, and even asked a couple of my people "IRL" to help me choose. This was the winner for what it's worth.

Of course crop rotation is a big deal, but I swear that corn seems extra evident this particular year.
hmm

They were all in so many differing stages. It was fascinating, and I loved it. Eventually, I just had to stop for a mini-shoot.
I've always loved the way corn fields looked.

Near the end of Summer, August 2008, we took a very brief trip to Santa Cruz, California.

Santa Cruz has always been my true home, as in the place where I've always felt and been the most "at home"-- I've always wanted to actually make it my real home since the first time I was taken there at the age of 3.

Though, it is the single most place I ever go to, from wherever I have actually lived, this particular time turned into:
