I would like to dedicate this to my very good friend Jocelyne *JocelyneR who has been of such help to me in recent times, and who has always extended her kindness and friendship since I met her here on dA!

Jocelyne and I share a big love of cats, as it seems many do here on dA.

Photographed here is Jikan, my first cat.

He was adopted as a stray, in July of 2007, after living by my front door for about 3 weeks. [He was 7 mo. old at the time.] I didn't know what to do with him, because I had two dogs at the time, I had never owned dogs with cats in my whole life prior, though I had always LOVED other people's cats.

But I decided to acquaint Jikan with my two dogs, and vice versa through the security door. This did work well, and I will always be grateful to my dogs for allowing cats in our lives, this late in their lives.

Though Jikan is our first cat, he is not our oldest. Including him we now how have six cats, all adopted - we adopted Katie Rose, who is the oldest, from my Grandma when my Grandma had to go to assisted care. And Zorra Mia is probably older, but she is our most mysterious cat, background-wise.

We also only have one dog, now, as our other past on last September 2009.
