From the garden of one of the [HUGE] McMenamen's,just outside of Portland.
This is from June 2008, when I was in Portland, Oregon.
I go once a year, twice if I'm lucky, more when I'm wishin'

Nice angle. I like that you got up under it.
I love the mulberry tree at my parents' house. In the spring and summer there are berries the size of your thumb. And if you get up under it, the butterflies are feasting in the hundreds. Its really amazing to sit under there munching berries and watching butterflies.

I truly appreciate that, it was a fun one to photograph.
I just really wish I could have gotten more in photo FROM being underneath it like that, but couldn't, and I really just HAD to be underneath it.

It was said it was the most twisted tree in the world, but you couldn't see it, unless you went up underneath it, and you couldn't at all get it in this way, that's for sure. But it was fun to see.

It really was. It was said this was the most twisted tree in world, but you could only see the massively twisted branches if you went up underneathe, and not easy to get it all in. It really was amazing.
