i wanted to give alice a more tradional feel, so i used a lose water colour brush in photoshop cs3, i used the orignal illustration from my alice in wonderland book as an influence. also i was Influenced by [link] *Barukurii who's work has inspired me for so long.i used a reference image from deviant art ~deathbycanon-stock
created in photoshop cs3 using wacom bamboo tablet

your colouring is far superior to mine. I'll never get the time to practice colour, so all you gotta do is get those little things like hands and you're all the way there.

colouring still stumping me. but working with layers helps. that way i can swap and change things that i don't think work. hands are the stumper. but i've been working on them in my sketchbook too...lol

don't copy hands directly, learn from hand formation upwards (building in shapes etc.) makes for better hands.
