Description I'm posting this before 12 so it still counts as drawing something new everyday!

Sketch dumps are fun, apparently. It gets my ideas out so I can move on to more fruitful ones.

So when I was drawing Julia, I was trying to think of what she would look like a bit older. Then my imagination took over and suddenly I had an image of her as a late teen and acting like a slut. And since that wasn't the fate I wanted for Julia, I made it a new character.
This is Augusta. I made sure to draw everything that popped into my head about her so I didn't have to ever draw her again. I'm pretty sure she was just another excuse to draw curly hair.
I love her armor
And Brutus is the best thing to ever happen. He's really more of a family dog. He betrays them often. The line 'e tu, Brute' (which I've been informed that I spelled wrong. It's 'et tu, Brute') is what Julius Caesar said when he realized Brutus betrayed him. There's probably some typos. I drew him without any references which might be best I've ever done with an animal in my life.
Augusta's either the daughter of deified Julius Caesar, or is a descendent of him. About every other generation considers this difference important.

If you've got any questions about her, feel free to ask

daughter of the deified Julius Ceasar, that's very clever, why didn't I think of that?

That is so cool! I could totally see her as an older version of Julia. Julia looks so cute! I would do the same thing for my sister.

Funny OC! And it's "Et tu, Brute" btw. I like how you draw Reyna, you should draw more of her(with Jason heheheh).

Darn it! I wrote it 'et tu' first, but then I thought 'maybe that's too french'. Of course French is a Romance language so it totally would've made sense. Duh.
Reyna's fun. As much as I want to give her bangs, she probably wouldn't want them in her face... I'd love to draw her with Justin more when I get some more inspiration for them. They haven't done much, yet

I feel your pain, Latin is complicated. I saw this one Reyna picture and she had short side bangs that looked pretty nice. Hmm for inspiration I suggest reading some fanfics about them or just being like "what would Percy and Annabeth do... Okay, now let's Romanize that". Lol Justin?

Ha. You'd think I would've learned that after 3 years of the bloody language.
Oh gosh, I'd never draw again if I started reading fanfictions. I'm completely helpless when provoked with a plot line.
Oh gosh, Jason! My brother was talking about N'sync and I got confused. I could never just romanize Percy and Annabeth. It wouldn't be unique enough, or even really accurate. That and I'm too canon. They never really got together the same way Percy and Annabeth did. Moments of sexual tension would be nice art, though

The sexual tension thing would actually be a good idea. I always pictured the Romans all flirting without actually flirting, like maintaining a level of intimancy but not touching(seducing with their eyes*bricked*). oh gods, I've been reading too many romance novels... Someone stop me!

'picture the Romans'? I doubt the Romans had the quiet christian sensibility of 17th century England. I picture them being much louder than that. However, that doesn't mean the kids in New Rome would act like that. I would think they'd have a bit more confidence with themselves then most modern kids, seeing as they're all trained in warfare from a young age, apparently
