Father-daughter bonding moments!Contest entry for this contest held by TheHarvestMoon ! :3
I wasn't quite sure who I wanted to pick when I saw the theme of non-marriageable characters, and then I remembered these two characters from the Island of Happiness DS game (which I still need to finish lol). I thought they'd make a cute entry, and I'm honestly glad I picked them!
Both of them were a challenge for me to draw; especially Gannon, who doesn't follow any of the normal proportions I'm used to. But, I made it work, and it looks adorable, so I'm happy.
I'm also pretty happy with the bg as well. :3
Any comments/constructive criticism would be most appreciated!

Mostly I'm just curious why, after you stumbled over my drawing, the first thing you decided to do was comment 'his face is ugly'? I mean, if you wanted to talk about a trope it reminded you of, wouldn't it have been better to lead with that? That could have been an interesting conversation. I already knew the character doesn't look normally attractive, I didn't really need it pointed out to me. That, and it is considered mean to say that sort of thing about anyone, no matter how true it might feel to you.
