Description
Have you ever been fishing in Runefactory 4 and catch a can or a boot? That's pretty common, annoyingly enough. But the other day I had the privilege of not just catching a can, but a rare can.Β
It amused me so much that I had to draw a picture. Obviously Frey is less amused that I am.

so here's my thoughts on to this, it's a nice parody tbh. refreshing to see someone else feel the same way as I do at times when the things we find is just laying out in places for everyone to find that's supposedly 'rare'.
but more like on Chef Ramsey's scale of 'raw!' Lol
but all that aside I can definitely relate to the emotion that's greatly givin out on the character herself, everything is set up nicely, the lighting, settle shades, and the main emphasis.... The Rare Can lol.

^^ I'm glad you enjoyed this drawing; I had a lot of fun drawing it. Yeah, it was hilarious when I first found it, especially since it looks like a Coca Cola can.
And I am planning on eventually drawing more parody drawings; I actually have one that I'm drawing now and will upload when I figure out how to draw one of the character's coats. xD

Oh this is your first? Try the first three as well if you feel like it, especially RF3. Personally, those had the best girls in the game. Just that, you can't choose a gender in the previous installments so you will always play as a guy lel,Β but at least you can transform into a cute animal in 3. Only Rune Factory 4 has two protags.
I really love RF because of the additional RPG elements aside from the farming part, which Harvest Moon doesn't have and the fantasy setting is really nice.Β Β

I'm planning on it, eventually. With games like Harvest Moon and Runefactory, I generally like to play the latest installment in the game to see whether or not I will like it, then I'll get the others if I enjoy it. ^^ And I reeeally like Runefactory, so I will eventually be getting the others of it. When I finish it. In a couple of years or so. xD
Yeah, me too. I like Harvest Moon, but after a while, it gets really boring. Also one thing that I really like about Runefactory is how you get playable events with not only the bachelors, but with all characters, and how often they show up and how many they are. It makes it actually feel more real.

Oh, so you're planning to play the rest eventually. Great! There's obviously difference to the story for each game, especially 2 (It's divided into two), but the only thing that remains in all RF games is that the protags always have amnesia at the start of the game. xD
Yeah which is why I ended up liking RF over HM because of the additional RPG stuff. HM gets repetitive later on for me with simply just farming and upgrading every day. RF at least gives you the freedom to beat up monsters while managing your crops. And you even get to tame them~ 8D
And yes, another thing that makes RF series really fun for me are the characters. They're all quirky & weird in their own way even the ones who seemed to look pure. And oh, awesome soundtracks too. RF4's OP was my favorite in the series.

Yes! Yes! It is sooo much fun to make that really tough monster join me. And the cute ones are just so...cute. <3 Plus, I like how it makes you fight things, but, at least in RF4, it makes it so that you are not actually killing them. It is kind of nice.
Yeah, I love each character so much. I must say, that made it veeery hard to choose my future husband. Because they are ALL awesome. I hope they eventually continue the series, now that they seem to have a good foundation for Story of Seasons.

Yeah the idea in RF-verse is that you don't really kill the monsters, but instead send back to... I forgot the name, but that was the concept in the whole series. Your items and stuff had some powers that could bring them back to where they came from lel. Imagine your hoe being that strong ahahahaha!!!
Ah if I'm not mistaken, the company already filed for bankruptcy and the team behind RF were hired by another company and working on a different game so no news on any sequel as of now. Most likely, there won't be any sequel anymore which sucks.Β Β

Lol, yes, I did, but it was still weird. After all, they are supposed to be 'rare'. I was even still using the weakest fishing pole (and I haven't gotten a single rare can since I upgraded).

I think since you have an upgraded fishing rod, the game's nice enough not to give cans anymore, rare or not XD I remember I would fish up old boots in rune factory 1 haha
