So, this is supposed to be them dancing.Tell me, does it actually look like they are dancing? xD
I had so much troubles with the posing and proportioning in this one. >.< But I at least like how the coloring turned out! I've been waited to do some fan-art of these two for a while, 'cause they are such a seriously adorable couple, and I really enjoyed watching their arc and how they grew as characters, both separately and together throughout the TV show.
I haven't seen season 3 yet, but I'm hoping that it doesn't screw them over. xD

I think what went wrong, to mention what you said in your comment to me, is just the pose itself, it looks awkward and unnatural, she doesn't look like she's sitting on his leg, she looks like he is just holding her up in the air slightly above his leg, and her right leg almost looks like it's on the same side as her left leg rather than being on the other side of the male dancer. I hope this helps!

Well, the idea was that he was supposed to be lifting her up in a sort of twirl, but that sort of got lost somewhere in sketching. And the right leg is supposed to be on the same side as the left. xD But yeah, the pose ended up really looking weird, but thanks for the notes!

I don't really look up poses, I will look up pieces of the positioning when I'm having problems, but for the most part I was trying to figure it out on my own.

they're never the kind of picture I need, so I just start with aΒ
very quick gesture drawing and work on that...

I guess it looks a little bit like them? I don't really think Eva looks much anything like Lillie, but I can see how Kiawe and Percedal look similar.
