Usually I just use Paperclay for the sculpting, and acrylic and watercolor for the painting. I'm pretty low tech-if I can't get it at Michaels, it's too much work for me!

Wow that's what I'm looking for =3 low tech. I actually already started with sculpy >.< it looks pretty but I need to still find a way to harden the clay =[after all it's not like I can bake a vinyl toy XD ..... not long at least >.> lol

You can harden the clay with a heat gun, if you're careful and take your time.
I'm not good at that kind of thing, so I just go for the air dry stuff.

Hrmmmm sculpey is a little easier to work with for me, I like the fact that it doesn't dry just in case I want to change something later on. I really love your work with vinyl figures though ^_^ I would definitely buy one if I ever had the opportunity. They make me smile.

they're from a dunny figure, which you can get at [link] , and from there I cut them up, add clay, paint, whatever moves me!

they're all on a 3" dunny base, which you can get at kidrobot.com and then just acrylic, watercolor, and a little clay, usually.
