A wasp (duh).
It took between 1 and 1,5 hours to make. For parts of it, I used a technique I just learned from ~fuzzymutt , another pipecleaner artist ^^The wasp is 14 cm (5 and a half inches) long (not including antennas or wings, just the body). It did not turn out as awesome as I imagined it...
I included some Portal humour because GLaDOS happened to be nearby when I took the photos

I love wasps! I dont kno why ppl are so afraid of them. If you dont bug them, they wont bug you.
the only thing I can make out of pipe cleaners is a snail, but I used a pattern.

I thinks this looks really cool!!! A wasp that big would be terrifying! We have these things called giant hornets over here that get about 3" long and sound like weed whackers. They hurt too! Very nice work on this one!

I think they have bigger ones in Asia. Yeah, they do. 3 of them can kill a yak!!! This photo gives you a good idea of how big they are;

The North American variety are a little smaller than that. We had a nest of them at the pool I used to lifeguard at, and I had to get rid of them, just like with the black widow.......

OH! This is so creepy (I am terrified of wasps) but wow; so cool... it looks real o__o especially if thrown at unsuspecting people from a distance!!

i am terrified of wasps too. but not this one
it looks pretty scary if i hang it on the wall, though. until you look closer it really looks like a huuuge mutant wasp that's sitting on the wall
