Well, we have clearly passed the second episode of Gundam Build Fighters.And upon watching the opening sequence, yes my friends: Mr. Rambal Ral. Updated and back in his Gouf.
First just thought to be a simple cameo appearance in ep.1 to get veteran Gundam fans to watch this lighthearted series.
But now he is apparently permanently part of main cast and is maybe: the leader of the Zeon fan club (speculation).
For those who do not know of Rambal Ral? Well, I'd say, "THIS AIN'T NO ZAKU BOY! NO ZAKU!!"

in the latest episode, he made a comment about forgetting how to fight. XD he's the best char and hardly does anything.

I can only wonder if he is the real deal or a truly devoted fan. Seriously, is he the real Ramba? If Friezas death ball somehow sent Bardock back in time, I wouldn't be surprised if laser beams can travel dimensions.

In the original Gundam, Rambal Ral died jumping out from a flying air ship while hugging onto a grenade which exploded blowing him to a dozen pieces scarring Amuro for life. So ... yea, not time travel.

Unless that grenade actually the 1-time use dimensional teleporter in disguise.

Death balls can cause time travel, giant robots of that shape aren't collapsing under their own weight,etc. Who knows? Maybe grenades can do that.

I am Mister Ral. No really, I would have been in 5th grade in 1979, as a kid in Japan I would have become a Gundam fan for life. Ral-san & I seem about the same age and build these days too.

But rumors as they were more likely pointing to a Psycho Gundam custom as one of the bosses.

It is clearly currently going the different dimensions route but who knows, maybe?
But then there seems to be a hint that links Gundam Build Fighters specifically (other then the model kits) to Turn-A Gundam which in turn links to the all the Gundam universes. We'll just have to wait and see

Let's see~ all the robot action of Gundam but none of the heavy emotional burden that haunts the viewers throughout the series. So in a way ... it's Medabots. And if you hear people complaining about product placement in TV shows? This one is the boss.

Yeah, it pretty much is Medabots, though Build Striker lacks the Meda'tude. Maybe that's somewhat represented in Reiji? He looks like he wants to give the gorilla a big Metabee Boppin', lol.
