You gotta see who the reviews are coming from. Bottom line, any screen CAN break. Questionz is WILL it break? More than half the time it's not that the product isn't tough enough.. it's oh... you were careless and dropped it in the toliet.

You mean the watch right? Apple is probs making it better than other smartwatches, but yeah.. it isn't revolutionary and yes it isn't needed.
- Agree with you here. Can we spend our money on something better..

Yeah, it was about the watch, and the tendency in general. I really hate to think there will be people calculating their own worthiness depending on ability to buy this new gadget.

I think the best thing would be if they did not calculate anything of the kind, knowing they need not compare themselves to others by any criteria to be worthy. It's an utopia, I know.

apple really tries their best to milk the cow as much as they can but this time they are really exaggerating!
just take the watch for example... just an average smartwatch with a digital crown which is basically a scroll wheel and totally dependent on the phone!

The price is a joke it's just a tiny remote control..
How about that: A smaller Iphone that is in your other pocket to control the bigger phone.. or a phone which can be pulled out of a pocket?

I think the only part of those announcements I like is the new GoT season. I don't know, I think the Apple Watch it's just unnecessary. You want a new watch just so you don't have to take your phone out of your pocket? And you're gonna pay more than 450€ for that? You can by a normal clock for that.
Yes, I know it has a lot more features, but still, nothing your phone can't do.

1. I'mma make this plain right now, I'm still a PC user, though I love the old apple mobile products (I still have an Iphone 3). I hate (HATE) using MACs. In all fairness though they have their pros and cons each. I'm not excited about any of these announcements in the slightest.
2. Something affordable. Seriously, first a six hundred dollar phone, and now a three hundred dollar watch. And that MacBook air, while innovative, is likely to cost at a minimum a grand. The prices for these things is monstrous. That's my biggest complaint about then, is the price. And if it was for something practical, usefull, I might forgive them, but these things ARE nothing but gadgets. Much like the Iwatch.
3. Some of it IS pretty sick, but most of it right now is nothing but high tech toys, stuff you don't need at all.

Having said that, i'm not in the market for new gadgets, as of now. Got a MacBook Pro last year, and my phone is still relatively new. (It's an iPhone 4, so "technically" it's ancient, but it does everything i want from a phone and it still looks and works like a new one.)
The new announcements did nothing to change that:
- Even if i didn't have a MBP, the new MacBook has one huge deal-breaker (only one USB port) and one minor one (that keybpard that goes from edge to edge looks pretty weird).
- Likewise, the Watch could be a cool device, but i see no use of it for myself. One, because my iPhone is too old to support it; and two, a watch that i have to charge every day? Thanks, but no thanks.
- HBO + Apple? I don't live in the US, so this doesn't concern me.
What i want from Apple are things they probably won't announce anytime soon:
- Redesign iOS with "usability first" in mind. iOS7 was a huge step back in that regard; plus it looks infinitely worse than previous versions.
- Give us more choices, rather than remove them. I'm not talking Android-like customization, but things like a proper dark-mode. I want iTunes to be able to look like Spotify.
- Speaking of iTunes, i want that program to run smoothly and lag-free on Windows.

I'm most excited about the new MacBook. It seems like the perfect traveling companion. The watch doesn't do much for me; I don't use a watch, my phone is rarely out of reach. I just don't care to have my notifications any more accessible than they are now.
That said, I thought the iPad was stupid until I used one, so I'll withhold an absolute opinion until I've tried one out! I do think there's a future in wearables, even if it's not a watch.

I cant wait until virtual reality devices like oculus rift are cheaper and can be use to do stuff like turning lights on and off using motion controls and virtual interfaces. that would be awesome!

It will come with a warning to wear it on a different arm every month so you dont end up walking in circles if you only use it on one arm.

I agree. It's certainly still very beautiful what with all the colors and bezel but it's still rocking an A5 chip. That's pretty much makes it an iPhone 4s, which I'm certain will stop being supported with new updates in iOS 9.

So true. If they don't hurry the 5th gen might be outdated by iOS 9 or 10 (definitely at 10 if it runs 9)

I'm always interested in what Apple™ is introducing, since I've used their products since the early 1980s. The watch would be a lot more intriguing if the price wasn't $350 for a "simple" one. Even though it uses apps the screen has to be so small that a stylus would be needed to click on one, which wouldn't be very convenient. I have a hard enough time clicking on an app with my finger tips on my iPhone 6. What I don't understand is how the phone aspect works... is it a stand alone or can it be used along with the iPhone like the MacBook and IPad works with the iPhone?
