This is the final version of another work I have been working on for almost a month now. I used Photoshop to enhance the image and make the ink work stand out. This image was strong enough I felt without color and I really liked that it was done by hand it was my first attempt in years to use dip pen and ink again. I am truly happy with how this image turned out. It is a princess from a book I am working on. The race she is from can change their form into an animal when they wear the skin. This image depicts both sides of her side by side. Her name is Inara in case you wondered and she is my own original character design and all.Related content

I still like this one a lot. It reminds me of Audrey Beardsley's negative space control. You should clean this one up/render it/polish it and take it to the finish. It looks a bit sketchy right now, but it's my favorite. Perhaps it would help to ink it large (18x24 inches or so). With brushes and large ink-nibs it sometimes helps to work larger and shrink it down.
