Unlike a lot of angels, Liling isn't very judgemental towards demons. She understands no one is born evil even the most corrupted of worlds and she can also sense the intentions of others, a power a lot of angels have. Liling isn't usually allowed into Hell but sometimes during the Cleanse or just other periods angels can frequent or visiting Will, she comes around to see what's up. She spots a very lonely Octavia and decides to talk and listen to her, as she knows Octavia isn't quite the demon her parents try to raise her to being.

I like to think that Liling can be a good friend/older sister, maybe even mother figure to her. Octavia at first is weary of the angel, but lays her guard down when Liling doesn't just out right judge or chastise her and is willing to listen, especially when Liling explains that her own family wasn't particularly nice, coming from a rich noble family that forced her to marry someone she never even met. I think Octavia would feel most comfortable around Liling, even if the two don't care that many likes or too much in common. The one thing they share in common is they both come from not so healthy families, chastise for what they want to do and who they are.

Wanted to do this picture since the Octavia/Stolas episode came out. I'm not a huge Helluva Boss fan but that episode was very sweet, that it almost felt like a HH episode instead of a HB episode.
