Before anyone goes "Oh you based him on Elsa!" NO I did not! Shut up about Frozen already! His appearance was inspired off of Jinx from the game League of Legends.

Some Spoilers From My Story.

Lucerne was one of the Dark Master's best soldiers. He was the one that took Johnny under his wing to use magic and become a soldier, for the most part, unbeknownst to Johnny. Lucerne was so loyal to Dark Master, he was given the nickname "The Devil's Servant" and because of his ice magic and how fast and quick he could kill or take down someone, he also gained the reputation as "One with the frozen heart".

As time went on Lucerne began to become close Johnny, as someone that looked up to him, like a son or younger brother. (Not as lovers as Lucerne was an adult when Nny was still a kid), especially after one incident and pretty soon, his ice heart began to melt a little. He pays the ultimate price when he tries to save Nny from being fully a dark soldier.

Personality: Lucerne is rather calm and collect most of the time, but that just makes him scarier at times because no one knows what he's thinking. Like Nny, he can be unpredictable and may strike out just to throw people off guard. He may appear to be insane and one would guess he is, but he can also be very wise and thinks before action. He's very quick and it often appears as if he's dancing in the frozen wind when he strikes. He often talks like an old ranger from a west movie, often calling Nny "Kid" even when Nny gets older.

Trivia:

- The name "Lucerne" comes from the Swedish City of the same name. It is also the name of a glow fly and another name for the "Alfalfa" plant.

- His ice powers comes with a heavy price. If he uses too much power, his heart will literally freeze over time. So he wears sweaters, jackets and has to take hot baths or put a hot rag or water bottle over his heart, especially after a major fight, to prevent his heart from being completely frozen over.

- Often times with his knight gear pictured here, Lucerne will wear a scarf and/or a poncho/caplet to keep warm. I just didn't want to draw them here since I wanted to show his main outfit.

- Much like Nny, Lucerne hates sleep, but unlike Nny, he knows it's necessary to being healthy and thus does so anyway. He even forces Nny to sleep in some occasions because of his concern for his well being.

- Due to his powers, his hair sometimes becomes lighter, especially in certain lighting. Sometimes may even appear white. When he's not using his powers or hasn't used his powers in a while, his hair will become darker.

- Despite what he says "Kids scream and cry over little things. Least when an adult cries out, there's a reason for it, thus makes their yelling more enjoyable", he really just doesn't like hurting kids. He sees kids as something purely innocent before being corrupted, thus he has a soft spot for them. There's also a deeper reason why he cares for children. He tries to hide this facter from anyone else.

- Lucerne doesn't seem to age. This may be due to his powers or he's just one of those people that look young despite being much older.

- Like Nny, Lucerne uses a machete like dagger that freezes something as he cuts through it.
