Yep, I have one! Unfortunately I left a Puyo Puyo cartridge in it for so many years that it's the only game that works in it for some reason.

I remember putting my TV on its side to play arcade mode in Namco Museum Volume 1 a while ago. It made the colors go weird.

You can get computer monitors that rotate. Not sure about vertical CRT TVs, other than what's in arcade cabinets.

The only portrait display I've ever seen is the Macintosh Portrait Display. And that one uses some crazy connector. Ah, somehow 90's Apple was crazier than current Apple.
