Description The assignment was to create an image which takes advantage of positive and negative space using geometric shapes that are not figurative nor subjective in black and white.
So I did this. I like it. Especially the drips.
Ink with brushes on vellum. 24" x 36". Thanks go to Erin for the bigass paper.

It looks fun. 4 of the boxes seem to make a face.

i think it's perfect in it's imperfections. i like how the shapes seem to grow in size the further down you travel.
it almost looks like map but at the same time, the drips make it seem as if the shapes are hanging.
i like it !

I'm aware how odd it is to fave a piece like this, especially on these online "art archives" where mountains of brilliantly rendered but, at it's core, unoriginal anime-ish fan art get to wallow in their heaping pile of favorites.

I dig it. It's bold, but more than that, it's balanced. It's something I'd like to see on a big wall.

I'm reading more into this than I should, but I think that even a piece that maybe wasn't the artist's magnum opus reflects the inner, unspoken talent and the EYE for design that the person possesses.

*GASPS FOR BREATH*

Sorry, just got back from Psychology class... *shuffles back to studio to meet deadline*

i appreciate the simplistic structure of this. abstract art is always good.

This offends me, but I must agree with the previous comment.
