What have you been up to man?

Just finished up the semester yesterday with my last final exam. Aside of school I haven't been up to a whole lot, working a little on the weekends and just kinda bumming around. Recently picked up skyrim so I'm kinda going back and forth between that and some other titles.
How about you? Been seeing a lot of WIPs of your mentoring piece. How's that going?

I've seen you signing on XBL; I've been playing Skyrim too. Been working on a Altmer Vampire NecroMage. I am a pretty good authority on Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls series in general; I live and breath the lore and gameplay.
I've been playing Pokemon a lot lately too, I am trying to breed a Baton Pass using Torchic with perfect IVs with the Speed Boost ability and a Jolly nature.
I even tried Masuda Methoding a Shiny Ralts and got burned with 300 regular ass Ralts.
I've been gaming a lot, drawing a little, I spend a few hours a day on my mentorship. I am still working on the first project; I got 3/5 sides finished; waiting for approval on side 4, I got side 5 done since yesterday, but I am waiting for approval on side 4. I went through 13 drafts on side 1, 4 drafts on side 2, and only one draft on side 3. I am making improvements.

Yep, just one more to go. I wont be taking portfolio again but I will be taking Jack Tom's illustrator class. Hopefully learn the ropes of that program a bit more.
I'm an Elder Scrolls rookie, Skyrim being my first entry. I picked it up on black friday with the dlc, but so far I'm really loving it. I just chose a Nord and I've been using mostly 2 handed weapons and bows. Sounds like you know your stuff though haha.
I took a break from Pokemon recently but I do plan on going back. There's a few pokemon I wanna still go back and raise. Good luck with your training man, I never could do the IV training, my patience can only last so long.
Sounds like myself atm. Gaming more than arts, though I'll be trying to at least even those two activities over the break.
That's good to hear your number of drafts are decreasing, sounds like an interesting project overall.

Nice; be aware that I've heard some grievances over how Jack Tom teaches that class; tons of vector tracing and repetitive assignments. My advice is before starting that class is to watch tutorials just so you can get a strong start on that class.
I do recommend Morrowind and Oblivion; the last two entries. Arena and Daggerfall were the first two. I just love the lore of the series, I have conversations for hours on the lore and have theories on different aspects of the storyline. Elder Scrolls Online should clear up some stuff on the Dwemer as it takes place in the Second Era and the Dwemer vanished in the First Era so since it was far more recent in history more information should be available on who the Dwemer were as a culture.

Yeah, I am learning how to do IVs. I am using a guide. I just had to ask someone on GameFAQs with a Ditto in their Friend Safari to add me. I am really patient because I got nothing better to do.
I would love to game more. Yeah it's good, my mentor said from what he's seen with my portfolio WCSU didn't provide a good enough portfolio class. He said when he was in college his portfolio class went on for a year to create a solid starting point for a career in the arts.
