Alstanta was recaptured by invading Allied troops that stormed forts and kicked the seperatists out after weeks of fighting. The South however continued their advance on Lipaz. The Borderlands seemed to be clear. The 3 mountain ranges and Talox range would probably keep the sides from advancing. Chris had his infintry waiting to enter Algenia to seize another southern country. Alex went to the East to campaign against the Axis in the Axark Desert. The campaign had led with humiliating defeats due to poorly trained generals. Alex was a suitable replacement. "They are a day's way from the trench set up around the city sir!" , A scout said as Alex briefed. Enemy airstrikes had pulverized all armor divisions inside the Axark deserts leaving only infantry to defend. "We will be flanked so easily on the side of the mountain. Lipaz is a terrible defense point, but it is the only largest supply post in the desert. If the Axis claim it. Axark is lost for sure." ,Alex brushed his mustache as he thought.

"Lieutenant Christopher I marvel your strategy and tactics! perhaps once this feud is over you could show me these." Chris replied, "Yes your defensive positions are very well laid out. I could learn a thing or two as well. Too bad politics and war are in the way." Chris looked as he made slow, painful progress to Algraden.
Superior Commander Alexander had held for about a week before he needed reinforcements. "We cannot hold forever and our supplies are low. We need help or the Axark Desert will fall. SOS." , Alex said as he radioed the command center in Crisian. This base however was a whole 100 miles away. They will have to wait out the reinforcements and hope that the enemy does not have any as well. Alex was frustrated at the lack of support from the allied nations. "Officer! I need you to make sure every soldier is accounted for and has a weapon at hand. Our sensors have picked up movement and our radars show signs of enemy bombardment." They were going to start the battle when a cease fire was called on both sides. civilians escaped the city as it prepared to be sieged. Taking whatever they could carry and whatever was worth money or memories. The battle began after all the citizens were out of the conflict zone. Will Alex succeed or will Lipaz fall into the hands of the rebels?
