I'm taking a Printmaking course, and the assignment was to do something that somehow incorporated "the apocalypse." I'd been reading up on Jim Jones and The Peoples Temple (Wikipedia , if you have no clue what I'm talking about) for another class, and remembered that Jones used the threat of nuclear annihilation in the U.S. as a recruitment tactic. I kind of went with this propaganda style advertisement, but as I have absolutely no design sense whatsoever, it's pretty garish.Related content

I actually like this a lot. I think the mix of bright colours and black make a very bright and ominous feel, which reminds me of the mood right before the shooting of Leo Ryan and the subsequent massacre, sunny and bright but very, very evil. I also like that you did lambast Jones and his self-obsessed preachings, rather than just turning him into a wacky cartoon type. In short, I think this works rather well, and good work.
