Went and saw John Carter on Saturday. Overall I really liked it, to be honest. I do need to reread the books though it's been years. But yes, I liked the movie.

My favorite characters are Tars Tarkas and Sola because they've always been my favorite (they're just the best). The Tharks with hearts and I love 'em. I mostly drew them because I bought new pens and I'm going to test them out and such (that will happen later). Their faces are so hard to draw argh argh argh. Argh. That said I'm so happy the sexual dimorphism wasn't shown by giving the females breasts. Just so happy.

I sort of also want to draw Kantos Kan, my favorite non-Thark character. Maybe later. Maybe after I have the DVD so I can get good refs or something. Who knows, who knows...

So yeah I'll do something with these sketches later.
