Today is my last day in Dubai, tomorrow I'll be going back to Bangkok. I tried not to feel so sad about leaving one of my favorite countries. Just then I felt a warm sensation and saw rainbow sparkles by the window, and Emirates A380 appeared. As soon as the sparkles faded, I gave Emirates A380 a tight hug. He even noticed my expression, a tiny bit sad.
Emirates A380: You seem down today.
Me: I'll be going back to Bangkok tomorrow. (a drop of tear ran) I don't want to leave UAE just yet, I still want to stay for a little longer.
Emirates A380: Well you can always come back, I have my magic to help you. And guess what, I'm taking you back. But why should you leave so soon?
Me: (I'm really crying this time) School.
Emirates A380: Well, we've been here together for quite some time. And we enjoyed it. And because you're such a good friend, with my secret help, you can come back to UAE whenever you want.
Me: Thank you, Emirates.
Emirates A380 released another warm golden sparkles, just to comfort me.
Then the next day at the airport, I met Emirates A380 in his airplane self standing by the gate.
Me: Well, at least I get to fly with you.
The entire flight has been so calm and relaxing, but I can't help but feel sad. For sure I will miss my time in UAE.
Me: Emirates, you're right, UAE is a very magical place, I believe it now.
Emirates A380: I knew it, and I'm glad you agree.
At school, I was at the lookout when in front of me, I saw sparkles in the colors of the UAE flag. The sparkles faded and Emirates A380 appeared. I hugged him tight, not noticing Tiger behind me!
Tiger: Huh! You're back?!
I went cross.
Me: (whisper in Emirates A380's ear) That's my gay enemy! He says bad stuff about your country!
Emirates A380: Oh, but don't listen to him, you know what's the truth. Don't let his nasty words ruin your mood.
Tiger: Just break up with him! He's too nasty!
I went so red, I was about to run after him when I all of a sudden froze. Emirates A380 gently held me close, trying to console me with another warm sensation.
Emirates A380: Calm down, Dollie. Remember what you said in UAE; to be Arab, you have to be sweet and kind.
I suddenly remembered, my anger faded. Throughout the rest of my 9th grade, my memory of UAE had consoled me from any strong emotions. And whenever I wanted to go back, Emirates A380 would come and he would secretly take me back, with his A380 magic. United Arab Emirates is very dreamy, and magical indeed.
