I don't appreciate PMD's Wigglytuff enough, so have a doodle dump!Chatot and Wigglytuff probably first met after he was already fully evolved (if my memory serves me right, there's no mention of Chatot during Team Charm's special episode, so maybe they hadn't met yet). But it's really fun to imagine these two being good friends as children, or starting a rookie team together.

If I were to just draw pokemon exactly like the official design, I feel like they'd be incredibly generic. Design is something that brings a character's personality and backstory to life, so I like to stylize them!

Styling fanart characters are indeed quite fun. At the same time, it's also incredibly difficult. It's why I'm praising you now. You know, I've tried 'stylising' characters several times, and... none of them are as cute as I want them to be, whether fanart or non-fanart X'D

OMG, I have just played an episode of Igglybuff and Armaldo. For some reason, since he is guildmaster, I always imagined him looking older but with child-like mind, hiding genius inside. Maybe not as an elder but visibly older than most of the guilders (beside Chatot).

In my head, Chatot is still Wigglytuff's old babysitter after what happened with Armaldo. Wiggly got "grounded for life" after rubbing shoulders with an outlaw and he kinda took it literally.
